TRS was not the company’s original name, in 1987 Alphabet was founded, set up by CEO James Hyslop, who along with the underwriters at Equity Red Star wrote the ‘New for Old’ Policy wording.

Alphabet devised replacement as a way of settling claims, this would go on to be vital in the development of TRS, without this, we would not be settling claims today.
1994

ClaimBrain is redeveloped into a self processing claims system, in which customers can process their own gadget claims.
TechCheckz is born, a device diagnostic app that is able to remotely diagnose any fault any fault on a mobile phone/tablet.
TRS form a partnership with TransUnion.
1995
Fully recovered and eager to pick back up where he left off, The Replacement Service was born. Software Developers created the 1st Claims Handling system which is still being developed and is still used to this day!
2015
The hub grows with extended services and larger coverage for clients. TRS currently offer a local yet national service.
The Marketing partner with Modern Claims Magazine as part of the Editorial board offering knowledge and views the industry faces.

From the adaptations of the current systems, The Replacement Service created ClaimBrain, a contents validation database which continues to grow and used by many professionals in the industry.
2012
For initiative, The Replacement Service proudly makes it to the final of the British Business Boost Award.

The Replacement Service wins the Pride Award from nationwide for our unrivaled customer service, we also set up our exclusive partnership with Europes largest buying syndicates, making us local yet national.
2004
With much to shout about, TRS partnered with the insurance times, mainly featuring the software solutions developed, still to this day that partnerships continue to grow.
